Congratulations to PAL members who are celebrating noteworthy accomplishments. Art Port Townsend ~ Mike Corcoran, Beverly Hanson and Mary McInnis have been selected to show in the Expressions Northwest juried exhibition in Port Townsend. The show will be held Aug. 7-29. Tacoma Mural Art Training Program ~ Mike Corcoran was one of 20 artists accepted in the Tacoma Art Commission's Mural Art Training Program for summer 2010. For Pastels Only ~ Mary McInnis won the Jane Lincoln Award for Abstract at the 'For Pastels Only' juried show on Cape Cod, MA. She is also the featured artist for July at the Peninsula Retirement Center in Gig Harbor. Cutter's Point Uptown ~ Donna Carver has a one-person show in the Livingroom Gallery through July 31. Open Studio Tour 2010 ~ PAL will again be well-represented in this year's Greater Gig Harbor Open Studio Tour. Of the 32 artists participating in the tour, 14 are PAL members: Darlene Dihel, Luke Filmer, Dianne Gardner, Judy Gilbert, Lynn Guenard, Gary Jackson, Al Johnsen, Anne Knapp, Kate Larsson, Mary McInnis, Daphne Nixon, Pat Thompson, Kari Tirrell and Giorgina Candelaria Wells. This year's OST will be held September 18 & 19.
