   Program: Cecelia Blomberg - 'My Time in Scotland Doing Tapestries.' For the past two years, Cecelia has spent time at Stirling Castle in Scotland working on a project re-creating the famous 'Hunt of the Unicorn' tapestries. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a tapestry artist, and we're privileged to have her share her story with us. Cecelia was born and educated in Sweden, receiving her MFA from the National University of Art, Craft and Design in Konstfack in 1976. She's lived in our area since 1977. Her work has been featured in many international galleries and publications. Don't miss her presentation at our April meeting.

     Our Sixth Annual Open Juried Exhibition will be June 2-25 at the Gig Harbor Civic Center. The exhibition will be juried by Judy Morris, a nationally recognized watercolor artist. Stay tuned for an announcement of the winners.

    Our Winter Members Show had a very good response, as you can see from the winning entries. The show was juried by John McCuistion, Chair of the UPS Art Department. In announcing the winners, he gave thoughtful critiques of each painting. He also emphasized the importance of art in our daily lives, and congratulated PAL on the outstanding quality of work submitted. See our Winter Members' Show winners below...
