MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS...

... are held the Fourth Thursday of most months. Meetings are held at the Boys & Girls Club, 8502 Skansie Avenue. Meeting time: 7pm. For driving directions click here.

Program: Election of officers for 2010-11. Program presentation will be announced soon.

Picnic: Aug. 20: Our annual picnic will be held at Anne & Bob Knapp's home in the Cromwell neighborhood. Details will come in early August.

At every general meeting, we have a display of work by three of our members. Each Featured Artist brings a few pieces of their work and is available to chat during the break. This gives us a chance to get to know one another better as artists. Contact program chair Carol Lemon at carol_lemon@comcast.net if you'd like to show your work at a meeting.

    ... Our Summer Show was held during the Art Festival at Key Bank. Larry Johnson, a well known painter who was showing his work at the Art Festival was our juror. His award choices are shown below

Open Show -- PAL's Eighth Annual Open Juried Show will be held October 20 - November 19 at the Gig Harbor Civic Center. The show will be judged by Ron Ranson, an English artist, teacher and author who recently moved from England to Portland, Oregon. For a Prospectus for the Open Show click here.

    Call for Entries -- Gig Harbor BoatShop. The Gig Harbor BoatShop/Eddon Boatyard is looking for maritime-themed art to display on consignment in their Chandlery (retail store) located at 3805 Harborviewe Drive, downtown Gig Harbor. All requests will be considered and juried by the Board of Directors.
