I have been sculpting off and on since I was a freshman in high school, working in water- based clay until 1996 when I discovered oil-based clay. Changing from firing greenware to bronze casting allowed me to take more time on projects, and there is a permanence with bronze that is appealing. I have taken classes in pottery, figure sculpting, bronze casting and design. My pieces tend to be varied, realistic, fantasy and non-objective.
Non-objective is my favorite. There are no restrictions of what you can come up with and I feel it's the most creative form for me.
